Ideally suited for start-up businesses or those which are growing and need personal guidance regarding the myriad of legal duties which abound regarding health and safety legislation. Regardless of your industry and basic risk profile we have a support solution for you.
For the sake of flexibility Sospitas offers two levels of consultancy service:
A daily consultancy rate will be charged for any work undertaken. The scope of work will allways be agreed in the form of specific objectives with the client to ensure that each party fully understands what services will be provided.
For an annual charge the business has the right to nominate Sospitas Ltd as their 'Competent Person' to satisfy the requirements of The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. The service includes site visits, liaison with the enforcing authority and accident investigations
The charity, Action on Hearing Loss estimate that 1 in 6 people in the UK have hearing loss and the second biggest cause of this is exposure to loud noise.
At Sospitas we specialise in noise assessments, produce clear easy to understand reports and can generate recommendations for noise control solutions for the client which are both practical and effective
Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMSDs), while not life threatening, can impair the life quality and mobility of large numbers of the working population. In the UK (2018/2019) 498,000 workers were suffering from WRMSDs which accounted for 6.9 million working days lost - source HSE
At Sospitas we have a long history of assessment of work which poses the risk of both back and upper-limb injury. We can also advise on practical and effective controls and strategies to avert such risks.
All courses will be structured with an overall training aim and associated learning objectives. To ensure that the traning has been successful each delegate/learner would assessed individually - by final assessment and/or by peer review (face-to-face interview with the tutor). Every learner wil be issued with an appropriate personalised certificate of attendance/completion forming a part of their own learning portfolio.
NOTE: all courses are designed to be delivered either in-company face-to-face or via an online learing platform - especially relevant during the current pandemic and restrictions thereof.
